Forewarn® Radar-based Back-up Aid #4982

Forewarn® Radar-based Back-up Aid  Enjoy greater confidence and peace of mind when backing. Automatically enabled when the vehicle is in reverse, the stystem uses distance-based audible (85 dB) alerts to help drivers detect children, obstacles, and other vehicles when backing. A 17 GHz radar sensor attached to a 2" trailer hitch monitors a 16-4/10' area behind the vehicle. Useful at both parking speeds of 2 mph and normal backing speeds of 7 mph. Designed for a wide range of applications including RVs, SUVs, vans, cars and pickups. Removable to enable mounting on rear of trailers. Mounting hardware and harness included.
