Powerful yet lightweight furnace was carried by the American Medical Research Expedition to Mt. Everest and used in the record setting Pacific Crossing of the Double Eagle Balloon. Electronic ignition furnaces feature an improved electric shut-off on the gas valve, a new blower assembly that increases air delivery by 60%, and electronic ignition (no standing pilot). Low amp draw of 2.9 amps. 12 volt DC. Includes a vent for 0" - 3-1/2" thick walls. Vent kits offer you greater flexibility in installation with three different kits for cabinet depths ranging from 20-1/2" up to 31-1/8". It can be configured for front or side discharge. Model 8012-II AF can be configured for front discharge only. Use the optional cover plate to convert front discharge to side discharge. Cut-out size: 11-1/4" H x 8-3/8" W.
